COZY, COMFORTABLE, AND NON-TOXIC

Our Organic Cotton Sherpa Sling is the perfect blend of softness and durability, designed to keep both you and baby comfortable while on the go. Made from ultra-soft organic cotton sherpa fleece one one side and soft sweatshirt material on the other side (with just the right amount of stretch) it’s gentle on baby’s skin while offering secure support.

EASY AND COMFORTABLE
Simply drape/place the sling on your shoulder across the body and insert baby (more detailed instructions below).

. The wide cloth at the shoulder helps evenly distribute the weight for maximum comfort, so you can carry your little one with ease. Perfect for hands-free carrying, while keeping your baby close and cozy.

SUITABLE FOR BABIES UP TO 40 LBS
This versatile sling can accommodate babies up to 40 lbs, making it a long-lasting addition to your babywearing essentials.

HANDMADE
Crafted with care using pure, organic cotton materials for a natural, chemical-free experience.

SIZES
• XS: For adults or teens up to 5 feet
• S: For adults up to 5 feet 4"
• M: For adults up to 5 feet 10"

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1: Put the Sling On

  • Place the sling over one shoulder like a sash.
  • The fabric pouch should rest across your front and slightly toward your opposite hip.
  • Spread the fabric wide across your back and shoulder so the weight feels supported and even.

Step 2: Create a Deep Seat

  • Hold the sling open with one hand to make a deep pocket for baby.
  • The lowest part of the pouch should sit around your waist or slightly above — not too low.

Step 3: Lift Baby Onto Your Chest

  • Hold baby upright against your chest with one hand supporting their neck and bottom.
  • Gently lower baby feet-first into the sling.

Step 4: Position Baby Safely

For newborns and young babies:

  • Keep baby high enough to kiss the top of their head easily.
  • Baby’s spine should stay naturally curved.
  • Their face should remain fully visible at all times.
  • Keep at least two finger widths of space under baby’s chin.

For older babies with head control:

  • Their legs can come out in an “M” position with knees slightly higher than their bottom.

Step 5: Tighten and Spread the Fabric

Since the sling has no adjustable straps:

  • Pull and spread the fabric snugly around baby’s back and bottom.
  • Make sure baby feels secure against your body and does not slump downward.
  • The fabric should support from knee-to-knee if baby’s legs are out.

Step 6: Check the T.I.C.K.S. Safety Rules

A good babywearing reminder is:

  • Tight — baby held snug against you
  • In view at all times — face never covered
  • Close enough to kiss — top of head easily reachable
  • Keep chin off chest — airway stays open
  • Supported back — baby not curled or slumping

Important Safety Notes

  • Never let fabric cover baby’s face.
  • Do not use a cradle position for sleeping or prolonged carrying with newborns.
  • Premature babies or babies with breathing concerns need extra caution and pediatric guidance.
  • Stop using the sling if seams, stitching, or fabric show wear.
