Protect your entire mattress with pure, water-felted American EcoWool. This six-sided mattress encasement provides a soft, breathable layer of natural moisture resistance without synthetic waterproof membranes, polyurethane, vinyl, or chemical treatments.

Handcrafted in San Diego using untreated, organically processed EcoWool, the fabric is densely felted using only water, creating a naturally moisture-resistant barrier while allowing airflow.

Unlike conventional waterproof encasements, felted wool is quiet, breathable, and comfortable beneath your bedding.

A three-sided zipper along the top allows the encasement to open for easier installation and removal while providing complete coverage of all six sides of your mattress.

WATER RESISTANCE

Felted wool naturally repels moisture, helping slow liquid penetration while remaining breathable.

This encasement is water-resistant, not waterproof. A single layer of felted wool will not prevent all liquids from reaching the mattress. For greater moisture protection, additional layers are recommended.

Layering is especially important for beds where spills, nighttime accidents, or other significant moisture exposure are anticipated.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Wool naturally resists odors and moisture, so frequent washing is generally unnecessary.

• Air out regularly to maintain freshness.
• Spot clean minor spills with cool water and gently blot.
• For a thorough cleaning, hand wash in cool water with a wool-safe detergent.
• Avoid agitation, rubbing, wringing, and sudden temperature changes, which can cause additional felting and shrinkage.
• Gently press out excess water without twisting.
• Reshape and lay flat to air dry completely.
• Do not machine dry, bleach, or dry clean.
• Avoid direct heat and prolonged exposure to intense sunlight.

Natural wool may shrink when washed. Gentle handling and cool water help preserve the encasement’s shape and fit.
