Crafted from untreated, organically processed EcoWool sourced from small farms in the USA, our Super Soft Felted Wool Moisture Pad creates a breathable, naturally liquid-resistant layer between your baby and the mattress.

The wool is densely felted using only water — without chemical additives or synthetic waterproof membranes. Our super-fine Melton worsted EcoWool creates a tighter, more protective felt than loosely felted wool, helping liquids bead on the surface rather than immediately passing through.

Use it over a crib or bassinet mattress, on a floor bed, or as a co-sleeping layer beneath baby to help protect your larger mattress from nighttime leaks, spit-up, breast milk, and everyday accidents without covering the entire bed in a synthetic waterproof protector.

Because wool naturally resists odors and microbial growth, minor accidents often require little more than allowing the pad to dry and air out.

HOW TO LAYER

For additional absorbency and easy laundering:

Mattress → Felted Wool Moisture Pad → Organic Cotton Quilted Pad → Fitted Sheet

The wool provides the moisture-resistant barrier while the cotton layer above helps absorb small amounts of liquid and can be washed more frequently.

CARE

Machine wash on delicate and hang dry.

For minor accidents, washing is typically unnecessary. Allow the wool to dry completely and air out naturally. For added softness when washing, add approximately ¼ cup white vinegar to the rinse cycle.

USING WITH OUR INFANT MATTRESSES

Our Organic Latex Infant Mattresses already include a built-in wool moisture pad on top, so there’s no need to purchase an additional layer unless you’d like a removable pad for added protection or easier cleanup.
