Organic Cotton Reusable Baby Wipes FTW

Organic Cotton Reusable Baby Wipes FTW

Not to brag but a wet wipe has never touched our baby's bottom.

We use these unbleached organic cotton flannel cloths soaked in warm water to wipe him down after a pee (when he wets his diaper.. because during the day we offer him a chance to eliminate after meals and after waking up from naps.. and he pretty much always takes the opportunity).

When he poops, he gets a "bower" (butt shower) in the sink with warm water and Dr. Bronner’s Baby Unscented Castille Soap (which we use on our own bodies to shower and also sell here).

These cloths are 6 x 8 inches and are handmade in San Diego out of two layers of soft organic unbleached cotton flannel. $16 for a set of 6.

These are great as baby wipes, face cloths or multipurpose washcloths.

Even when we leave the house, we travel with warm water to wipe him down for a pee. Luckily he hasn't pooped outside of the home yet.. but when we do we'll use Yolande Norris Clarke’s minimalist parenting guide's technique of premixed wipe solution on an organic cotton disposable dry wipe and finish with the warm water once-over using these amazing cloths.

It feels so good to use only natural materials on our baby's most sensitive parts and to keep waste out of the landfills in the process.
